# Lanrith

> Lanrith is an open-source immutable router and edge operating system for homelabs. It combines a read-only system image, configuration in Git, owner-controlled signing and integrated networking.

The project is in development. The local console explains router activity; router configuration stays in Git.

The OS and configuration share a read-only image. Leases, logs and service data use separate writable storage. Boot fallback and deliberate rollback are distinct operations.
